I'll stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
